About Me
Software engineer by day, card counter by night
"We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand" — Randy Pausch
I'm a software engineer with a passion for applying data-driven strategies to everything I do. By day, I work at AWS Elemental. After hours, you'll find me at the blackjack table, discreetly putting my card-counting skills to work to beat casinos at their own game—while doing my best to avoid getting noticed and kicked out by surveillance.
From the office to the felt, I love finding new ways to strategize, analyze, and—most importantly—win.
Why software engineering?
"Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic" - Albus Dumbledore
Software engineering allows me to combine my analytical skills with creativity. I love the challenge of finding efficient and elegant solutions to problems, and the satisfaction that comes from seeing my code come to life.

Spending an entire summer biking to and from work in Portland made me realize my passion for biking. During that time, I mastered riding without hands and discovered the joy of exploring Biketown on two wheels!
